St Nicolas CE Primary School, Abingdon

Navigate - Inspire - Challenge - Succeed

Welcome

A very warm welcome to our St Nicolas website. We hope that you will find it a useful tool to find out key information, events and activities that are taking place at the school.

St Nicolas is a two-form entry primary school full of highly motivated and talented children and a creative, energetic staff who strive to ensure that every single child has a fulfilled and broad curriculum enabling them to excel as independent learners.

Our ethos and culture centres around our ‘NICS’ acronym where every stakeholder is encouraged to ‘Navigate, Inspire, Challenge and Succeed’.  We can all relate to this model as we continue to navigate our friends and families through challenging economic and social circumstances; seeking solutions, promoting enjoyment and celebrating success. We want our children to ‘Navigate’ their way through a supportive and creative learning journey that enables every individual to feel ‘Inspired’, look forward to overcoming ‘Challenge’ and celebrate regular ‘Success’ that fully prepares them for their next chapter in life.

We are rightly proud of our reputation as a friendly, supportive school, where we build upon our values-based and Christian ethos and aspire for all to ‘journey together and live life to the full’.  We ensure there are strong links with our parents and the wider community and their support is always welcomed and appreciated.

I look forward to working with you as we improve the opportunities and achievements of our children in preparing them for secondary school life and achieving learning excellence.

We would welcome visitors to the school.  Please e-mail office.3247@st-nicolas.oxon.sch.uk or telephone 01235 520456 to arrange an appointment.
