Term 1 - Autumn - All About Me!
During the Autumn term, the children's theme entwines the changing seasons of 'Autumn' with the changes that occurs for themselves as they begin their school journey. They learn to observe, talk about and explore their environment and learn the expectations of their role in a class. They learn through a triad of child-led, adult-led and adult-initiated activity.
They explored the seasonal changes and environment in a local wood walk, learn about types of apples, experienced apple tasting,pressing and lots more. The children love reading all about We're Going on a Bear Hunt and creating their own class version by going on their own Class Bear Hunt!
