School lunch menu

The school kitchen offers an excellent choice of freshly prepared, nutritious, varied hot and cold meals every day. Children are supervised throughout the lunch break by our Teaching Assistant team with help available to anyone needing it.

We also make provision for children to bring a packed lunch to school. The older children eat these together in their classrooms whilst the younger children eat in the school hall for an inclusive and more sociable meal time with help available for opening of packages etc.

If your child has a dietary requirement please let the school office know by completing the Medical Diet Request form below, this information will then be passed on to the school kitchen - thank you.

Meal Booking and Payment System

Under Tucasi Scopay, you have complete control and flexibility over when your child has a school meal. Through your Tucasi account, you can order meals for the days they are required and this can be changed as often as you like. You will be able to order or cancel a school meal up to midnight the night before.

You must register your child to use Tucasi, if you have not received your registration letter please email – finance.3247@st-nicolas.oxon.sch.uk with the subject line – ‘Tucasi register letter’ and your child’s name. We will reply to you with a copy of the letter attached for you to register, alternatively call into the office.

Reception, Year 1, Year 2, UIFSM and Free School Meals

For children in Years R, 1 and 2, meals continue to be funded by the Universal Infant Free School Meals programme. However, you will still need to log in to order meals for the days they are required. This also applies to children in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 who are in receipt of Free School Meals.

Year 3 – Year 6

For children in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 who are not in receipt of Free School Meals, you must have credit on your account before you are able to order a meal. The cost of a meal from April 2023 will be £2.40. If you have any outstanding dinner money due you will need to clear this via Scopay before you can order any further meals.

We appreciate that some parents/carers are unable to use online systems, for a variety of reasons. Office staff are happy to help guide you through the process. Help guides can also be found below, along with Frequently Asked Questions.

If you are unable to book online, please speak to Mrs Drew in the School office.

Please ensure that you have either ordered dinners or provided your child with a packed lunch from home. If dinners have not been ordered and a child does not have a packed lunch, we may telephone his or her parents and ask them to bring a lunch in.
