Term 6

Our final Year 3 topic is Scrumdiddlyumptious where we will be learning about healthy eating and balanced diets alongside reading our core text which is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. In this term, we will identify that animals including humans need the right types and amount of nutrition. Alongside this, we will learn that humans and some other animals have skeletons and muscles for support, protection and movement.

During the unit, we will be developing our story writing skills and inventing new characters. This will culminate in us writing a new chapter for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. We will also secure our understanding of pronouns, contrasting conjunctions, possessive apostrophes, suffixes and prefixes as well as write speech to bring our characters to life.
