Welcome to Year 5 

Hello from the Year 5 Team!

In year 5, the class teachers are Miss Lovegrove (Class 11 Mon, Wed-Fri), Mrs Crask (Class 12 Mon-Tues, Thurs-Fri) and Miss Shackell (Class 11 Tues, Class 12 Weds). Mrs Leat comes to see us every Thursday afternoon to teach us music along with Mrs Harrop, who teaches us French and PSHE.
We are also lucky enough to have Mrs Milne, Mrs Delaney, Mrs Collins and Miss G working alongside us to support our learning. 

 General Reminders

• In Year 5, we have swimming lessons. Both classes participate in swimming sessions on Friday mornings. Our last swimming session will be Friday 30th January 2026.
• Year 5 have a their school PE session on Wednesday afternoons. 
• Homework is set weekly on a Friday to be due in the following Wednesday unless specified. All homework is set on Teams and a physical copy is given in homework books.
• Water bottles - please ensure your child has a named water bottle in school.
